How an AI website creator works from your side of the chat
You answer, it asks the next thing. Then you see a plan, a cost, a build and your pages, in that order, before anyone else does.
You answer, it asks the next thing. Then you see a plan, a cost, a build and your pages, in that order, before anyone else does.
From your seat, an AI website creator is a chat that turns into a site. You answer questions about services, areas, customers and what makes you different. The in-app assistant drafts a plan of pages and shows the cost. You approve it. The pages are written, each one passes a check, and you read them before you publish on a free address or your own domain.
You do not start with a template or a blank canvas. You start with a chat. The in-app assistant asks what services you offer, which areas you cover, who your customers are and what makes you different from the next company.
Answer as you would to a friend. You are not writing copy. Short answers are fine, and if you do not know something, say so. A page never claims what you did not say.
That conversation is the raw material for the whole site. Every page is written from a conversation, which is why the pages sound like your business rather than a stock paragraph.
If you already have a website, give the assistant its address. It reads that site to fill gaps in what you told it, so you do not repeat what is already written down.
If your services, areas and prices live in a Google Sheet, share it read-only and the assistant reads that too. There is no Google sign-in step.
It does not go looking through other companies' sites for your copy. What you said and what you connected are the sources.
Next you see the plan: which pages the site will have, what each one is for, and how they link. An accountant might see a home page, a page per service, About, Contact and a questions page.
Beside the plan sits the cost of the build. You approve both before the build starts. If you say no, nothing is written.
This is the first of two decisions you make. The second is pressing publish.
Once you approve, the builder writes every page in the plan. Each gets a title, a description, one main heading, sections, and the questions people ask. Near the top sits an answer capsule, the short direct answer that the AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers read, as do search engines.
Every page then passes a check validated against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards. A page that fails does not publish, and the assistant says why.
For the anatomy of a single page, see AI page generation.
When the build is done, read your pages. If a sentence is wrong, or a heading is not how you would say it, tell the in-app assistant. It edits the copy, and the page is checked again.
The same assistant sets your brand color, logo and hero image, adds a click-to-load hero video from a YouTube or Vimeo link, and sets your footer links. It is on every screen, and it can explain what any screen does.
There is no drag-and-drop editor. You change things by asking, in the same chat you started in.
Publish and the site is live on a free address. Connect your own domain when you are ready: one DNS record, a CNAME, at your registrar, and the SSL certificate is issued for you. The assistant walks you through the record for your registrar.
You can also schedule the publish for a date and time in your own time zone. Handy if the launch is tied to an opening day.
Every publish keeps a version. Roll back to any earlier one if a change did not land the way you hoped.
Your legal pages are yours. Upload your terms and privacy pages and they publish exactly as given. The builder does not write legal, medical or financial advice.
Your lead destination is yours too. Paste one credential you generate in your CRM, press Send test lead, and watch the test arrive before a real lead ever depends on it. See capture leads from your website for the full list of places a lead can go.
As long as it takes you to describe your business. Short answers are fine.
No. The pages are written from a conversation. If you want to write a page yourself, you can, in plain paragraphs, at no charge.
Yes. Ask the in-app assistant for a page and it writes it and runs the check. An About, Contact or FAQ page takes one click.
Tell the assistant what to change and it rewrites that line or section. Every publish keeps a version, so you can roll back.
