Why this page does not rank anyone
A best-of list that ends with the author on top is an advertisement. We would rather hand you the questions and let you run them on any trial, including ours.
So no other product is named or scored here. The compare pages put this builder next to categories of tools, without prices or verdicts.
Best also changes with the job. A one-page campaign, a practice with three providers and an owner of forty domains do not want the same tool, and no list can know which one you are.
Seven questions to ask any builder
Write the answers down the same day you try a product. Memory is kind to whatever you tried last.
- Who writes the words on the pages, you or the tool?
- Is there a check before a page publishes, and does it say why a page failed?
- Where does a form submission go, and can you send a test one?
- Can you export your leads and download your site files if you leave?
- What does it cost each month, and is there any other charge?
- What can it not do today, said before you pay?
- Whose domain is it, and who holds the certificate?
Our scorecard, where we score well
Who writes the words: the builder does, written from a conversation with the in-app assistant. You approve the planned pages and their cost before the build runs.
The check: a check that runs before anything publishes, validated against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards. A uniqueness check strips city, state and industry names before it measures. A page that fails does not publish, and the assistant says why.
Leads: a form on every page, delivered to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Slack, Microsoft Teams, SMS, email or any webhook, with a Send test lead button to prove the connection.
Our scorecard, where we score poorly
No online store checkout on your site. If you sell products with a cart, this is not the tool today.
No blog posts. No drag-and-drop editing, so you cannot place elements by hand. English only, so a site in another language is not offered yet.
No rank tracker and no keyword research tool, and no promise about where a page will appear. If a dashboard of ranking numbers is what best means to you, look elsewhere.
One more. There is no template gallery to browse. The look is set by asking the in-app assistant for your color, logo and hero image. Some people want to scroll themes first, and that is a fair reason to pick another tool.
Leaving, price and ownership
Leaving: export every lead to a spreadsheet in one click. After your first payment you can download your site files, and published sites stay live for 30 days after you cancel.
Price: $99, $199, $299 or $399 a month, every feature on every plan. The only extra charge is AI image generation, shown before anything is generated. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial, card required.
Domain: yours, connected with one DNS record, with the SSL certificate issued for you. Until then, a free address.
Who this builder is best for, and who it is not
Best for an owner who wants the site written, checked and kept in shape, with leads in the CRM the team already uses. Best for a company that needs a real site per location or service line.
Best for a team, too. Teammates share one account with the same sites, leads and plan, and each signs in as themselves with Google, Apple or email.
Not for someone who wants to place every pixel, sell with a cart, or run a blog. We say that here so the trial is not the place you find out.
How to run the same scorecard on any trial
Take the seven questions into any product's trial and write the answers down. Then read them next to the answers above. If a product will not answer one of the seven, that is an answer too.
The best website builder is the one whose answers match what you need done, and whose weak spots you can live with. Make the pages genuinely useful and the rest is yours to earn.
